Episode 15: Adopting the 2% Mindset

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do”

The 2% Mindset: only 2% of the population go for their dreams with confidence and excitement. Only 2% of the population choose happiness and fulfillment. Only 2% of the population get the most out of life by exploring new things and embracing the unknown. Only 2% of the population live life without limits and act in spite of fear.

And the remaining 98% of the population?

They remain in their comfort zone and are content with just getting by. 98% of the population live their lives playing it safe, doing the right things and save themselves for some future event that never happens. 98% of the population enjoy being like everyone else and simply let life push them into submission because they have no guts. Deep down inside they are terrified of taking risks and end up settling for less.

This episode talks about why taking action and starting now is the key to a 2% mindset.

Episode 10: 5 Things Every Entrepreneur Needs To Know To Master Selling

As an entrepreneur your job is to sell. Whatever industry or niche you’re in, if you can’t sell, you’re going to really struggle.

If you’re the founder or CEO of your company and you can’t sell (or have anyone in your partnership who can) then this is going to be a problem. It’s a lot easier to build on communication skills than technical skills.
“I’d rather teach a coder marketing skills, than a marketer coding skills”

Having the ability to sell is like any other skill on the planet, it can be learnt and these sales skills actually scale over time. If you want to improve your people skills, and most importantly the power or persuasion and negotiation.

Tune in for some inspiring business tips, conversations on how to improve your mindset, heartset, soulset and healthset. The another startup story Podcast is for creative entrepreneurs, artists and leaders wanting to be the best versions of themselves. Be the artist of your life.
